Ugghhh...owww!
Okay, so I have learned the harsh realities of your body's reaction to weight training. I started going to a gym recently when I realized that I was back up to my end-of-pregnancy weight (165) which I have never been before -- ever. I feel that my energy has decreased enough for me to be concerned and try to do something about it, so here I am. I am doing cardio, which is going great. I just started the weights today and felt the most incredible endorphin rush for most of the day and felt good about how much I accomplished today. I also felt great that I have lost 4 pounds already. However, I have learned that joy and rush is short-lived. Every square inch of me burns and hurts so bad!!! )o: I know this will pass, but good lord I hope it does soon! The thought of picking up my 27 pound baby with these sore arms....OUCH!!! I don't think he'll accept that "Mommy's too tired" excuse tomorrow either. I will dream tonight of strength and hope it comes true in the morning.
